Here at Rivers Edge we are committed to providing a positive food and beverage service experience for each of our guests. 

Sample Food Menu

The following is only an example of what to expect when you visit River's Edge. All menus are subject to change and are based on our Chef's discretion. Please discuss any special requests or dietary restrictions with our Guest Group Coordinator.  

Breakfasts
All of our breakfast menus consist of a hot entrée, side protein, side starch, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereals, and breakfast juices. 

Example 1: Buttermilk pancakes with butter and syrup, crisp bacon, warm flaky croissants with various jams and jellies, fresh fruit trays, assorted yogurt cups, hearty oatmeal, and an assortment of hot and cold cereals. 

Example 2: Light and fluffy scrambled eggs, sliced Hutterite sausage, sweet cinnamon buns, fresh fruit salad, assorted yogurt cups, and an assortment of hot and cold cereals. 
Lunches
All of our lunch menus consist of an entrée, a side, fresh vegetables and/or green salad. 

Example 1: Homemade beef barley soup, hearty butternut squash bisque, gooey grilled cheese sandwiches, and veggie platter with dill dip and sundried tomato dip. 

Example 2: Open-faced Southwest chicken and mozzarella sandwich on a crunchy ciabatta roll, crispy golden French fries, and tossed mixed greens salad with side dressings. 
Desserts 
All lunch menus will contain at least one dessert item including, but not limited to: 

Example 1: Green Tea Ice Cream: A scoop of rich and creamy green tea ice cream garnished with a honeyed tortilla wedge. 

Example 2: Black Forest Cupcakes: A moist, cherry-filled, chocolate cupcake with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. 
Dinners
All of our dinner menus consist of a hot entrée, a side, cooked vegetables, salad, breads/buns, and dessert. 

Example 1: Grilled Chicken with a fresh cherry tomato-basil salsa and a summery peach-mango salsa, savory rice pilaf, steamed California vegetable medley, warmed dinner rolls with butter, and mixed greens with cucumber, red onion, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. 

Example 2: Shepherd's pie topped with creamy seasoned mashed potatoes, buttery whole kernel corn, warm baked biscuits, and tossed mixed greens salad with side dressings. 
 Snacks
All of our snack menus include either a sweet or savory option, and a fruit or vegetable option. 

Example 1: Assorted squares and tarts or buttery popcorn, and crunchy apples. 

Example 2: Assorted fresh baked cookies or individual bags of chips, and carrot sticks with ranch dip 

Special Diets and Allergies

When given advance notice (at least a week before your event), our Hospitality Team works hard to provide excellent food and beverage options for guests with special dietary diets or allergies.

Examples are celiac, pork-free, diabetic and vegetarian diets, as well as nut, dairy, or soy allergies.* In our dining room, there is a special-diets menu board, which informs guests what is being served each meal. This board is located on our special-diets table, where guests can find safe and tasty alternatives. We also provide a fridge in our dining room, for any guests with special needs, to store food and beverage items they may choose to bring.

Please note: we are not able to cater to food preferences; only what would make a guest physically unwell. We do strive to have enough variety of options (healthy and indulgent) during each stay for every guest's enjoyment!

*(We are NOT a 'guaranteed' nut-free facility, however we do not cook with or serve anything that contains nuts.) During your stay please refrain from bringing any foods or snacks that contain nuts for the safety of our guest who have nut allergies.
