Merv and Lucille Traub - World's Best Volunteers
Merv & Lucille have a great history with River’s Edge. Merv was a part of the original team that helped to build the first facilities at James River’s Bible Camp in the early 1960’s prior to him and Lucille departing for Brazil as missionaries with the Missionary Church. After returning to Canada they church planted in Kamloops and pastored in Holden from 1993 to 2004. Upon retiring from ‘official’ ministry they joined back with the James River’s team as volunteers and when the camp sold, they then joined the River’s Edge team – helping out wherever most needed. Merv and Lucille have 3 children, 10 grandkids and 4 great grandkids! They presently live in Didsbury – with their second home still being River’s Edge! What a great legacy and support they are to this ministry!
