Plan to Protect
River's Edge Camp is a member of Winning Kids. Everyone who volunteers or joins us as staff is required to follow the guidelines and procedures as defined in the Winning Kids policy and procedures manual, "A Plan to Protect", which the camp has adopted as its official policy.
We realize the importance of protecting all campers left in our care, and therefore adopt the Winning Kids Plan to protect policy regarding:

Staff selection - to prevent known offenders from having access to campers in the care of our camp. -
Education - training volunteer and paid staff to aid in the prevention and detection of child abuse

Prevention - River's Edge policies and procedures that create barriers to abuse within our programs.

Removal - swift removal of offenders
